Steve Brudniak is a renowned artist known for his scientific assemblage sculptures. Cameron Schoepp is a Dallas/Fort Worth based artist who creates immersive installations. Schoepp’s “Room to Breathe” uses stylized text in carpet to engage the viewer’s attention.
The Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition is a showcase for recent work created by the graduating seniors of UTA’s Department of Art and Art History. The Fall 2006 exhibition features the work of 45 students demonstrating a wide variety of concentrations including painting, sculpture, ceramics, glass, printmaking, photography, digital imaging, video, and graphic design.
Beverly Penn’s sculptures begin with delicate plant materials cast in bronze. Michael Salter describes his work as being an attempt to slow down, sort through and respond to the visual culture surrounding, and sometimes, overwhelming us all.
