Reminiscing the Now: Directions in Contemporary Clay

The Gallery at UTA is pleased to present a group exhibition showcasing the creative possibilities of contemporary ceramics. “Reminiscing the Now” features the work of fifteen prominent ceramic sculptors exemplifying the breadth and diversity of stylistic and conceptual directions in contemporary clay.

The Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition is a showcase for recent work created by the graduating seniors of the University of Texas Arlington’s Department of Art and Art History. The spring 2022 exhibition features the work of 52 students demonstrating a wide variety of skills in concentrations including painting, drawing, sculpture, glass, clay, cinematic arts, photography, and design.

Faculty Biennial XVIII

The Gallery at UTA is pleased to present its eighteenth "Faculty Biennial," a showcase for recent work created by faculty from the University of Texas at Arlington Department of Art and Art History. Scheduled every two years, this exhibition presents a sampling of what the art and design professors accomplish in their creative endeavors outside the classroom.

The Gallery at UTA is pleased to present a two-person exhibition showcasing the creative partnership of artists John Ahearn (New York) and Rigoberto Torres (Florida). Concurrently, a complementary group show of artworks borrowed from private collections titled "Works By..." will be on view. Both exhibitions are open to the public at the University of Texas at Arlington from September 7 through October 9.

Carlos Donjuan / Arely Morales

The Gallery at UTA is pleased to present an exhibition by Carlos Donjuan (Dallas) and Arely Morales (Nacogdoches) on view at the University of Texas at Arlington from October 19 through November 21. Utilizing painting as their primary medium, the artists, who were both born in Mexico, emphasize conveying intensely personal narratives through their artworks.
